Stranger Than Fiction

Life trully is stranger than fiction.
You never know what to expect, and those things that you do look forward to usually failed to be what they seemed.
That is how I felt watching Stranger Than Fiction. At first, it seemed like your usual commedy having Will Ferrell (Harold Crick) as the main hero. But then as the film progressed, I realized how beautiful this story was written. How the mundane became an adventure.

Just like how we take our everyday lives for granted, Harold, also swallowed his life unchewed. He attacked life as typical as how he solved math problems - void of emotion. He spent his days counting every single steps he made, calculating possible angles not realizing that all these are irrelevant compared to the amount of time lost when he could have simply lived.

On the other hand, the narrator also had her hands full. She goes about her everyday consuming her life just to create stories of how other characters' lives will end. Only to be enveloped by guilt when the character she was plotting on killing materialized before her.

So how will the story end? Like how all are supposed to end. Watch this film and see how your own life unfold before your eyes.
